We don’t photograph these sessions as ten isolated poses.
We photograph the story as it unfolds.
The first glimpse of Santa. The walk down the beach. The letter being unfolded. Mrs. Claus leaning in to listen. The very serious Christmas-list conversations. The belly laughs. Tiny hands in Santa’s. Your children together. You stepping into the frame with them.
There are often so many little moments in between the moments you expected.

Every final edited image from your Santa experience is yours.

PREFER TO WAIT?
Absolutely. You’ll still receive a full proof gallery and can choose the 10 images already included with your $697 session at no additional cost.
If you decide you simply can’t leave the rest behind, you’ll have the option to upgrade to your complete edited gallery after delivery for $397.
If you already know choosing favorites is not your strong suit, pre-booking your complete gallery saves you $200.
And remember: two families who each book back-to-back sessions receive their complete galleries as our gift.

Parents are welcome to step in for a few beautiful images with their children during the experience. We’ll keep it natural and quick so we don’t take away from your children’s time with Santa.

If you’re looking for a traditional full family portrait session with extensive combinations, extended family, or more time dedicated specifically to family portraits, one of our regular beach sessions will be a better fit.

If you pre-booked your complete gallery, there’s nothing else to do. Every final edited image is already yours.
A FEW IMPORTANT DETAILS
- Santa by the Sea takes place on the beautiful white sands of 30A and is scheduled around the dreamy light just before sunset.
- Please plan to arrive 5–10 minutes early. Santa sessions run consecutively, and because we want every family to receive their full experience, late arrivals cannot extend beyond their scheduled time.
- Each booking is for one immediate family.
- Have cousins, best friends, or another family traveling with you? Book consecutive sessions and take advantage of our back-to-back family perk, including complimentary complete galleries for both families.
- Because this experience takes place outdoors on the beach, we’ll always keep a close eye on the weather. If conditions make it impossible to photograph safely, affected families will receive communication directly from us regarding the backup plan.
- You’ll receive detailed meeting instructions and everything you need to prepare before your session.

Can we get family photos too?
Yes! Parents are absolutely welcome to jump in for a few photographs with their children.
This is not intended to replace a full family portrait session, but we absolutely want you to have a few beautiful photographs of your whole family inside this memory too.

Your Santa by the Sea experience includes 10 private minutes with Santa & Mrs. Claus, 10 hand-edited digital images of your choice, a full proof gallery to choose from, a private online gallery, and print rights.
Only 30% is required to reserve your session.
Can I purchase more than the 10 included images?
Absolutely. You can pre-book your complete edited gallery for $197 before your session, or wait until you see your images and upgrade after gallery delivery for $397.
If you already know you’ll want every moment, pre-booking gives you the best value.
What if we’re traveling with another family?
Book two back-to-back sessions!
When two families traveling together each reserve their own consecutive Santa experience, both families receive their complete edited galleries as our gift.
Each family gets their own dedicated session with Santa & Mrs. Claus, and when timing allows, we can capture a few images together in between.
Can cousins or multiple families share one session?
Each session is reserved for one immediate family so every child has enough time to enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.
For cousins or families traveling together, simply reserve back-to-back sessions. You’ll have more time with Santa and receive the special complete-gallery perk for both families.
Can my child bring a letter for Santa?
Absolutely. We encourage it.
Letters create some of the sweetest interactions of the entire experience and give Santa something meaningful to talk about with your child.
Will Santa actually interact with my children?
Yes! Santa and Mrs. Claus talk, listen, laugh, walk, and play naturally with the children.
This is not a sit, smile, next! Santa photo.
The interaction is the experience, and we photograph the magic as it happens.
What if my child is shy or nervous?
Completely okay. We never force a moment.
Santa and Mrs. Claus are wonderful at helping little ones warm up naturally. Sometimes that means talking from a little distance first. Sometimes it means walking together. Sometimes a child wants absolutely nothing to do with Santa but thinks Mrs. Claus is fantastic. We follow their lead.
Even the quieter, more tentative moments can become some of the sweetest photographs.
What should we wear?
Think timeless rather than overly themed.
Soft neutrals, creams, classic whites, subtle holiday textures, and traditional Christmas touches all photograph beautifully against the white sand and soft coastal light.
You do not need to make everyone perfectly match.
Can we bring props or personal items?
A small meaningful item is absolutely welcome, especially a letter for Santa or a favorite holiday book.
We already have the experience thoughtfully styled, so please leave larger props at home.
Do you allow pets?
For Santa by the Sea, we keep the experience limited to children and families so the space stays calm and safe for everyone.
If you’d like portraits that include your pup, we can help you plan a separate pet-friendly beach session where permitted.
What happens if the weather isn’t great?
Because we’re photographing on the beach, we watch weather conditions closely.
A cloudy sky or less-than-perfect forecast does not automatically mean we cancel. If conditions make it unsafe or truly impossible to photograph, we’ll contact affected families directly regarding the backup plan.
How long will it take to receive our photos?
Your gallery will be delivered within the turnaround time outlined in your booking agreement.
We know everyone is excited to see their Santa images, so we always work to get them into your hands as quickly as possible while still giving every photograph the care it deserves.
